than 4,500 performances, surpassing the Broadway runs of such musicals

“42nd Street,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “The Producers,” and “Hello, Dolly!”

“I LOVE YOU, YOU’RE PERFECT, NOW CHANGE” is the most proposal-friendly
show in town. Fifty-seven times, a young man has taken the stage to
make a surprise proposal to his sweetheart. In all cases, the brides-to-be
happily accepted as the audience roared with approval.
The show is written by playwright/lyricist Joe DiPietro and composer
Jimmy Roberts. Directed by Joel Bishoff, “I LOVE YOU, YOU'RE PERFECT,
